So, due to the absence of the opening ceremony of the tournament, this special event is now going to be held at the famous Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

This much-anticipated clash between India and Pakistan is going to take place on October 14. 

The presence of Pakistani journalists is also quite expected on this occasion. Gujarat Cricket Association Secretary Anil Patel has said that around 20 to 25 Pakistani journalists will be a part of this event. Negative Points of BBCI’S Ceremony

There are some reasons why the BBCI’s special event for the India and Pakistan clash is being misconceived and has positive and negative impacts.

 BBCI may have forgotten that it is the host of all eight other countries’ teams, so it is wrong that it is organising this event only for the clash between Pakistan and India.

And secondly, it is to demotivate and disrespect the rest of the team. Moreover, this event sets a false precedent. It can also be seen that this event is increasing the pressure on both India and Pakistan players a lot.
