Bengaluru, August 22: The Southern Brave defeated Birmingham Phoenix by 32 runs at Lord’s in London on Saturday (August 21) night to win the first The Hundred men’s title after Paul Stirling and Ross Whiteley shone with the bat.

The Oval Invincibles won the 2023 men’s The Hundred competition. They defeated the Manchester Originals by 5 wickets in the final at Lord’s on August 27, 2023.
The Invincibles were captained by Sam Curran and their top scorer in the tournament was Jason Roy, who scored 423 runs in 14 matches. They also had a strong bowling attack, led by Chris Woakes and Tom Curran.
The Invincibles’ victory was their first in The Hundred, having finished as runners-up in the inaugural tournament in 2020. They are also the first team to win both the men’s and women’s competitions in the same year, after the Southern Brave won the women’s title in 2023.
