“The Hundred” is a professional 100-ball cricket tournament that was launched in 2021 by the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). It features eight city-based franchises, including men’s.
The tournament is unique in its format, with each team facing 100 deliveries in their innings, rather than the traditional 20 overs (120 deliveries) used in T20 cricket.
It is also designed to be family-friendly and to attract a new audience to the sport of cricket.

The One Hundred Cricket & Rules
It’s 100 balls per innings. The one with the most runs scored wins.The fielding side change ends after 10 balls.
Bowlers deliver either five or 10 consecutive balls. Captain makes the choice.A bowler can only throw a total of 20 balls during a game.
TIMEOUT
Each bowling side gets a strategic timeout of up to 90 seconds.
Midway through a game, the coach can make their way to the center of the field and talk tactics with the players.
