Mumbai Indians (MI), five-time champions, have added Romario Shepherd, who plays for the West Indies in international cricket, to their squad for the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) season in 2024. 

However, in the 2022 Indian Premier League, the 28-year-old shepherd represented himself with the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Moreover, in the 2023 IPL season, he became part of the Lucknow Super Giants. But, interestingly, now he has traded to the Mumbai Indians for his existing fee of US$60,000 and will play in the IPL in 2024. 

Additionally, in September, Romario Shephered was included in the Guyana Amazon Warriors, who became the winning side for the first time in the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) tournament.  

Moreover, he has the nationality of Guyana and plays for Guyana in domestic cricket. Romario is a right handed batsman and right arm medium seam bowler.
